Tribute bands serve a purpose and this one most certainly did. As we are all aware, David Bowie died in January 2016; he was one of the acts that I had always wanted to see but never actually managed it (I missed him by only a year or so at the Scarborough Penthouse). Specifically, I wanted to see him in his pomp during the ‘Ziggy‘ and ‘Aladdin Sane‘ tours; this band was the next best thing. I know that there are loads of Bowie tribute bands out there, but this lot are acknowledged as one of the better ones and they performed pretty well as I recall. They played their way through the majority of Bowie’s repertoire of hits and not just from the ‘Ziggy‘ and ‘Aladdin Sane‘ era. There were several costume changes and the musicianship was of good quality too. I had a good night. 👍
