The ‘B15’ tour
Pod Pearson (bass, keyboards, vocals) / Neil Smith (guitars) / Dean Cousins (drums, percussion)
This was the “B15 tour” celebrating fifteen years of Bravado, which is astonishing really for a tribute band, but is testament to the band’s popularity. (They were actually trading on the “R40 tour” which their heroes Rush had recently undertaken.)
As ever the band didn’t disappoint and whilst they were never going to be as good as the originals, they are probably the nearest that you are going to get, especially since the death of Rush drummer Neil Peart.
Once again, a wealth of material spread across the Canadian band’s repertoire was given an airing and you can actually watch much of the gig here as it has been recorded as a documentary and uploaded to YouTube, although the sound is rather poor. And judging by the video evidence, it seems that the night’s entertainment certainly looked something like this, although the running order might not be quite correct and the songs performed were definitely not limited to just these…
